    If anyone want to add a drop shadow, just double click the background layer to turn it into Layer 0, then grow the canvas to 120% H&W, apply your saved style (dropshadow), open up the effects for Layer 0 and make your adjustments, use the Trim tool to clip off any transparent pixels, then save as PNG to preserve the translucent edges.

    Thanks, that was helpful. I was trying to find a way to add a stroke to the outside of the image while keeping the edges square. Stroke and Enlarge Selection options don’t do it, this works.
