    waste of money! I did not know this whole movie was a silent film! I saw it on the previews and I thought he? was just acting as a guy doing black and white movies!

    I saw on the news that a woman wants to sue either the theater or the production company or something like that because she didn’t realize it was a silent movie!! hahahaha
    Just another sheep in the herd that BOUGHT the movie without seeing it just because it won an award and Hollywood told her to watch it. God, I **** being? an American.

    I still REALLY wanna see this movie. I love silent films, my favorite would probably have? to be Metropolis, and I have huge amounts of respect for the people that helped make this movie just for the fact that it’s a silent movie made in 2011!!

    Smh. Silent films weren’t even in the making a lot in the 80′s, they were made in like the 20′s or 30′s. And yes, it was in? 2011.

    I? don’t watch silent films at all. But, this movie really impressed me and I even understood the movie completely. I agree with the fact of it winning best picture. I loved the movie’s artistic values the most.

    Such an overrated movie. I get it, it’s a silent movie and all, but this movie was sooo boring.? Can’t believe it won best picture of the year.

    i am? truly shocked that people didn’t like this film for the very artistic reason it tried to portray – perhaps it was bad art…
